• For creators: audience size, platform handles, profile photos, bio, and portfolio links
• For brands: company name, business description, and brand assets
• For agencies: company name, representative information, and client relationships
• Account credentials (stored securely via Clerk)

Payment Information

• Payment method details (not stored by us; handled by Stripe)
• Transaction history and deal amounts
• Banking information for creator payouts (handled by Stripe)

Usage Data

• Actions taken on the Platform (offers sent, deals accepted, content delivered)
• Search and filter preferences
• Pages and features accessed
• Time and date of activities
• Browser and device type
• IP address

Communications

• Messages and deal briefs exchanged on the Platform
• Emails we send to you (promotions, updates, support)
• Support tickets and customer service interactions

Media and Content

• Profile photos and header images (stored via Cloudinary)
• Links to your creator channels and published content
• Uploaded files related to deals

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate the Platform: Process deals, payments, and user transactions
• Facilitate Connections: Match creators with brands, display profiles, and enable communication
• Verify Identity: Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse
• Send Communications: Email updates, promotional content, deal offers, and customer support

• Provides image optimization and delivery

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies independently.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

• Active Accounts: We retain all data associated with your account while you have an active account with AdReady
• Closed Accounts: After account closure, we retain transaction records for 7 years to comply with financial regulations and tax requirements
• Communications: Deal messages and briefs are retained for 2 years after deal completion for dispute resolution and record-keeping
• Usage Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage analytics are retained indefinitely to improve the Platform

If you request data deletion, we will remove personal identifiable information except where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Access and Portability

You have the right to access your personal data and request a copy in a portable format. Contact support@adready.app to make this request.

Correction and Updates

You can update your account information directly in your profile settings at any time.

Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Email Preferences

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. You will continue to receive transactional emails related to your deals and account.

Opt-Out of Analytics

You can request that we not use your data for analytics and service improvement. This may limit your ability to use certain features.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse. This includes:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure authentication via Clerk
• Restricted access to data based on user role
• Regular security audits and updates
• Secure handling of payment information via Stripe

However, no security system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

8. Cookies and Tracking

AdReady uses cookies and similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in and maintain your session
• Remember your preferences and settings
• Understand how you use the Platform to improve it
• Provide analytics to help us understand usage patterns

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

9. Children's Privacy

AdReady is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at support@adready.app.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only:

• With Service Providers: To the third-party services listed in Section 4
• As Necessary for Deals: Creators' profiles are visible to brands; brand briefs are shared with creators
• With Your Consent: If you explicitly authorize us to share your data
• For Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental request
• To Protect Rights: If disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or protect safety

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by emailing you or posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• The right to know what personal information is collected, used, and shared
• The right to access your personal information
• The right to delete your personal information (with some exceptions)
• The right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell data)
